First idea is very mch based on the soundtrack, and I went with the first thing that came to my head, which was that the track feels like it’s underwater. So i had the idea to shoot the entire video in one take, with someone holding their breath the full length of the track. Next to the face would be a bulb, which would interact with the character during the vid.

Second idea is based loosely on the notion of what inspired Gorillaz to make this track in the first place, Beowulf. So I found a comptetion on youtube between the world famous Kobayashi, who holds the record for eating most hotdogs in least time, competing against an adult grizzly bear in a hotdog showdown. A typical man vs beast foodfest extravaganza.
